The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, TradeRoots, and the U.S.-Korea Business Council, in partnership with the Port of Mobile and Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, kicked off the U.S.-Korea Partnership Tour with two successful events in Mobile and Montgomery, Alabama.
These events were attended by senior U.S. and Korean government officials, including Korean Ambassadaor Han Duk-soo, Alabama Governor Bob Riley, Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange, U.S. Congressman Bobby Bright, and U.S. Congressman Jo Bonner.
The Montgomery breakfast event featured a small U.S. auto parts supplier in Alabama who had expanded his business and hired 8 new employees due to Hyundai's presence in the state.
