Video: South Korean Ambassador’s Local Visit - WLNS News

Excerpt: Better business relations and a new trade agreement were the big topics on a local visit by the South Korean's ambassador to the US. Ambassador Han Duk-soo is making the rounds in Michigan and looking to jumpstart support for a free trade agreement between his country and the United States.
He spoke to a group gathered in MSU's Kellogg Center, hosted by the Greater Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. Ambassador Han says that, as it stands today, South Korea already invests six dollars in America for every dollar the USs invests in his country, but he says a free trade agreement currently stalled in congress could be a boon to American car makers currently subject to a large tariff, one that would disappear in the new deal.
Some Michigan lawmakers, including Congressman Sander Levin from the Detroit area, have questioned the wisdom of the proposed deal.
