U.S. Chamber of Commerce to Round Up the Free Trade Agreements - Daily Political

China has been having trouble with respect to intellectual property issues as they recently lost a few patents. They created a new policy to curtail this issue that is apparently holding a threat to harm U.S. business men and investors.
America, on the other hand is also hurting its own workers by failing to round up the free trade agreements and the head of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce mentioned this factor on Friday. Some officials are going to visit China next week to discuss currency related aspects and proper measures of counterfeiting the intellectual property issues.
But patent and intellectual property issues are not at top of the list for most of the people out there. We have U.S. trade policies that are stuck in a state of suspension, but there has been a lot of negotiation lately. However, it is true that a proper set of protocols needs to be followed because negotiations alone are not going to be enough in the long run.
For now, the U.S. is supposed to quickly pass those pending free trade agreements with Columbia, Panama and South Korea. These deals were signed by George Bush and the only catch is that they haven’t been approved by the Obama Administration yet. There are still hopes of getting these policies approved because nearly 1 in 10 Americans is looking for labor oriented work, so we can’t afford any more delay.
