U.S.-Korea Partnership: Growing Jobs Across America

Helping America Create New Jobs and Growth

The U.S.-Korea Partnership is a national series of forums that showcases the benefits of the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and discusses the many issues American companies of all sizes need to know about doing business in Korea.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, as the world’s largest business association, is utilizing its vast grassroots resources to lead this effort through TradeRoots and the U.S.-Korea Business Council, in partnership with local chambers and trade associations across the country.

The U.S.-Korea FTA will bring important economic benefits and opportunities to U.S. businesses, farmers, and workers by immediately opening new access for U.S. goods and services in Korea—one of the world’s largest and most dynamic economies.

By securing a more open and competitive Korean market, the FTA will boost U.S. exports to and investment in Korea—generating new jobs and economic growth in the United States.

This series is the only one of its kind nationally. Program speakers include senior Korean Embassy officials, members of Congress, governors, administration officials, business and community leaders and high level business officials.

These forums also feature industry experts who will provide information on topics including market access and compliance, intellectual property issues, distribution and trading rights, customs clearance issues, security, risk, cultural concerns, and other international commerce topics. Local business resources and success stories are also highlighted.
